This past May Luke Metzger, Director of Environment Texas, outlined in the Energy Program’s 2010 True Cost of Chevron Alternative Annual Report the lawsuit his organization initiated against Chevron for its repeated violations of the Clear Air Act. Less than 15 months later, Environment Texas has declared victory against one of the largest oil companies in the world.

Climate justice campaigners, environmentalists and social justice advocates from around the world will be arriving in Mexico over the next week, many joining the three caravans set to depart Acapulco, El Salto (Guadalajara) and San Luis PotosÃ, arrive in Mexico City and then travel on to Cancun, arriving December 3rd.
