Stand with fellow activists from around the world Saturday, December 3rd during the Global Day of Action for people and planet.
While the official United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 17) is taking place in Durban, South Africa, thousands of people are taking action locally on Saturday, creating 1000s of Durbans, and thousands more are marching on the streets of Durban to demonstrate the people’s common determination to prevent catastrophic climate change.

Global Exchange is on the ground in Durban! Community Rights Program Director Shannon Biggs will participate in events relating to Rights of Nature, including press conference, panels, a teach in and an educational toxic tour, march and action with the residents of South Durban.
