Hey, youth! Weren’t you planning on telling the world what you think about peace through art and entering the What About Peace? contest for a chance to win the $1000 grand prize?

And all you friends, family, and teachers of youth…weren’t you planning on telling youth age 14-20 to enter?

Well now is the time!

If you haven’t done so yet, not to fret…there’s still time. But barely! The What About Peace? art contest countdown has begun, and February 17th is the last day we will be accepting submissions.

So send your submission in today– with snow storms and wild weather you’ll want to give the postal service enough time to get it to us. All winning entries will be posted on our Facebook page on April 23, 2014.

There are prizes in two categories – written and visual with a grand prize of $1000 for best over all submission.

Write a poem, tell a story, defend an argument in an essay or share a photo, painting or drawing – the best ones  will be exhibited in our on-line gallery.

If you are 14-20 years old tell us how YOU answer the question, “What About Peace?”
