Malia, all of my best memories at Global Exchange (Cuba Reality tours coordinator from about 2001-2003)have you in them. Thank you for all your hard work and enthusiasm. Dear Wilfred, Thank you for your kind words. Tis wonderful to reflect on the Language School we used to run. That was a wonderful program. Bless you for your intrepid spirit and for supporting our work at Reality Tours over the years. Global Exchange was good to me too and well, Medea still inspires me. I will be starting a foundation next year called Altruvistas to benefit communities around the world and in the US who want to develop community tourism initiatives and projects. Here is to the resilience of our spirit Wilfred!

Where are you going, Malia? Global Exchange has been good for me. Medea Benjamin led me on a trip to Cuba in 1998 (I had been there before in 1978 (when the Russians were there). Again in 2000 I returned to Cuba with Global Exchange to study Spaish at the Universidad de la Habana. And I went back to Cuba in 2002 to tour the island. I’d go again but I can’t. I’m 87 years old now. The spirit is still there but the old body isn’t what it used to be. I’d love to hear from you and learn about the next chapter in your life. All the best. Wilfred
