Tell the World Diamond Council to Fix it. Now. And Forever.
Be a part of making all diamonds conflict-free!
Help generate thousands of letters to the World Diamond Council so that they take the deaths of millions in diamond-funded conflicts seriously, and bring these conflicts to an end!
Please do at least these two things:
- Send a letter to the World Diamond Council
- Are you going to see Blood Diamond??? (It's a Warner Brothers film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, being released December 8.) Multiply your impact for human rights four times or more! When you go to the theatre, bring at least four flyers to hand to people standing in front and behind you in line and sitting on either side of you in the theatre.
Here are some additional ideas of quick, easy, fun, and convenient things you can do!

Ask Others to Send Letters!
- Easy! Pass out flyers at work, holiday parties, school, book club gathering, music event, sporting event, or to other parents at your kid's soccer game, etc, etc.

Going Holiday Shopping??? (Or Getting Dragged Along with Someone Else Who Is?)
- Convenient! Use our fun Mall Kit! Here's a great excuse to escape and take a break during your tedious shopping trip! Includes flyers to distribute to jewelers to help stop the trade in blood diamonds.
Raise Retailer Awareness by Asking Your Jeweler To Send a Letter! Retailers play a key role in the diamond supply chain, so it's crucial for jewelers to speak out, too!
- Quick! Deliver a flyer to a retailer that sells diamonds; if possible, choose a jeweler your family has patronized for years and speak directly to the staff member you know
- Convenient! If you happen to pass by a jewelry retailer, stop to share your concerns about diamonds (and gold!) with the manager; ask him/her to take action and press for change...even if you do not have flyers with you at the time
