SEE INCREDIBLE FILM! WIN CHOCOLATE! TAKE ACTION TO KEEP WTO SEATTLE VICTORY ALIVE!

SEATTLE, 1999.
DEMOCRACY VS. CORPORATE TYRANNY.
DEMOCRACY WON.

In 1999 YOU helped Global Exchange stand for economic fairness, environmental wellness, and active democracy by halting the World Trade Organization (WTO) meeting in Seattle.

Tens of thousands of ordinary people—union members, environmental activists, farmers, students, teachers, and nuns—joined in an extraordinary alliance to challenge the WTO in Seattle.

Nearly ten years later, join GX again in an historic opportunity to continue the fight against the WTO and once again show how ordinary people can change everything.

By supporting the new feature film, "BATTLE IN SEATTLE," starring Woody Harrelson, Charlize Theron, Andre Benjamin, in its first box office month, we're asking you to play an important role in raising awareness of the WTO's failed, poverty-perpetuating and environmentally devastating policies.

The film opens September 19th in New York, San Francisco, San Rafael, Seattle, Minneapolis, and Washington D.C. On September 26th, the film spreads to Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Sacramento .

Join Us in Spreading the Word About this Epic Cultural Event & Stand up to the WTO Again Today!

The first two box office weeks are critical to ensure that film expands to more cities, and brings the message home to a larger audience.
