So far, I've had little success in stirring up student interest in FT.  There's a small group of activist students with whom I've had some contact, but it seems their interests lie elsewhere (politics, peace, police).  I haven't given up and will continue, as the occasion arises, to voice my interest in seeing an FT movement develop here.  We did host a quasi-FT event in the fall:  two artisans from Chiapas spoke  to a crowd of 40-50.

I'm happy to have my contact data listed with GX.

Cheers, Scott

I'm attempting to develop a Fair Trade campaign on the CSULB campus where I work. The local student-led progressive group is organizing a globalization conference later this spring. I'm hoping to hold a session on Fair Trade with the goal of finding students who want to raise FT awareness on campus. So, please send any material that you think would be useful.
