Tomorrow Anne and I will be speaking to a group in another neighboring church that wants to introduce FT coffee this year. We have never done anything like this before, but it is exciting.

We have set the date of Jan 11 for our presentation after the morning Masses at our church and plan on having two tables in two locations outside with posters, a flyer from TRansfair to give away along with a flyer we have made especially for our area and sample bags of coffee displayed. We are planning on inviting a couple from our town who spent two years volunteering in Guatemala and are now importing the coffee from the people they helped and selling it in town. If they can come, it would be a tremendous boost to our presentation.We plan on serving samples of FT coffee in espresso cups. We hope to lure people by the coffee and hope to get them interested. We will postpone the presentation one week in case of rain. We intend to repeat the coffee samples, et al about a month later.
