There is a desperate human rights and humanitarian crisis in Darfur, Sudan. Since 2003, more than 400,000 civilians have died from fighting, famine and disease, and 2.5 million have been displaced. 90% of villages have been looted or destroyed, and Sudanese government forces and allied militias are carrying out a campaign of ethnic cleansing against non-Arab Darfurians.
