Exploring California Trips
Exploring California encourages change. Whether it's a new outlook, a career change, or new approach to buying produce, participants of our program rarely come away unchanged.
Some people find new energy to fax their representatives, others have done presentations to groups, written letters to the editor, or talked with friends and co-workers. Whatever each individual makes of his or her experience, most of us never looked at California or our own neighborhoods with the same eyes again.

Travelers: - Please review our application forms and trip guidelines.
- Most of our trips include: accommodations (camping or hotel as specified), most meals, ground transportation, trip leader(s), reading materials, and translation as necessary.
- We also offer Custom Tours (PDF 17kb) for all our tour destinations. If you are part of a community group, church organization, union, school group, or have at least 15 people, please contact us for information on organizing a tour specifically designed for your interests.
- Financial Assistance: Partial scholarships are available for people with low incomes. Each group will be as diverse as possible in terms of ethnicity, age, profession, and life experience. We strongly encourage people of color, women, LGBTQ, and non-citizens to apply.
