Join us Friday July 11 for an intimate viewing and sneak preview of Perspectiva: Contemporary Cuban Art. Lead curator and artist Nelson E. Enriquez has just returned from Havana with fresh video art, book art, and installations in hand, and we can’t wait to share with the Bay Area.
Perspectiva: Contemporary Cuban Art is a group show of young contemporary Cuban artists. Influenced by the sometimes hermetic and isolated nature of growing up in Cuba, their works are both national and international in nature and express a diversity of medium, thought, and perspective.
Exhibiting artists are Kevin Beovides, Jenny Brito, Nelson E. Enriquez, Amilkar Feria, Yerandee Gonzalez, Renier Nande, and Grethell Rasua.
Can’t make it on the 11th? Come to our monthly art party every 3rd Friday with live music, or drop by during open gallery hours starting July 12th, Saturdays and Sundays 12pm-5pm. We look forward to seeing you this Summer!
