In "Gasland II, director Josh Fox takes the issue of fracking to a global level in a highly anticipated sequel to his Oscar nominated film "Gasland". Gasland II continues exposing the damaging effects of hydraulic fracturing, or "fracking", and goes deeper in exploring the threat to our communities, democracy, and planet. Fox tells the stories of those impacted by fracking in the United States and abroad, and uses these examples to expose the problems with gas and oil corporations deciding the future of our planet.

Director Josh Fox will be at this screening to speak firsthand about his experiences making "Gasland" and "Gasland II". He has spoken to individuals and communities across the nation about their firsthand experiences with fracking, as well as scientists, politicians, and industry experts. He is also the founder and artistic director of the International WOW Company and has written/directed/produced two feature films and over twenty works for the stage. His previous film "Gasland" was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary in 2011.
