“Scenarios for the Drug Problem in the Americas 2013-2025”

This report, prepared by the Scenario Team of the Organization of American States, details multiple perspectives on how to reduce damages of the drug war.

José Miguel Insulza, Secretary General of the Organization of American States will present the finding of the team.

The Secretary General’s presentation will be followed by commentary and discussion moderated by Emilio Álvarez Icaza Longoria, Executive Secretary of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.

Commentary will be provided by:

• Javier Sicilia Zardain, Leader of Mexico’s Movement for Peace with Justice and Dignity (MPJD);
• Hector Sanchez, Executive Director of the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement and Chair of the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda;
• Ted Lewis, Human Right Director, Global Exchange
