 Michael Fox is a freelance journalist, translator, reporter and documentary film maker based in South America.
Dawn J. Fraser is a humorist, storyteller, and national speaker based out of New York City. She is an Instructor with the storytelling organization ‘The Moth’, and the Host of ‘Barbershop Stories’, which features performers sharing true tales in NYC salons. Then she chops off their hair. Dawn works with students, entrepreneurs, and business professionals to enhance their leadership potential, and through her firm Envision Admissions has consulted thousands of students to utilize personal narratives as part of their application strategy.
Executive Director - Jeff Goldman joined FTRN in January 2009.  He has fortunately received directions, cultural insights, and genuine kindness from countless locals while working & backpacking in 54 countries across six continents.
Laurie Guevara-Stone is the writer/editor at the Rocky Mountain Institute. She has been researching and studying energy issues in Cuba since 1996, and has written numerous articles on energy education, energy efficiency, and renewable energy in Cuba for magazines including Solar Today, Home Power, Alternatives Journal, and Renewable Energy World.
Marisa Handler--writer, activist, speaker and singer-songwriter--is the author of Loyal to the Sky: Notes from an Activist, which won a 2008 Nautilus Gold Award for world-changing books. Marisa has worked as an organizer in the global justice and peace movements, and she speaks and sings about visionary social change all over the country.
Zakiya Harris is a California native, who has been working as an artist, educator and activist for the past 10 years. She received her B.A. in Political Science and History from Rutgers University and attended New College of Law in San Francisco before leaving to pursue her life long passion of teaching.
Andrea “Drea” Hightower is the Director of the Cuba and Middle East Programs of Global Exchange Reality Tours. She holds a BA in Latin American Studies and International Studies from the University of San Francisco.  She has worked/lived/volunteered in Mexico, El Salvador and Palestine.
Corey Hill is a human rights activist and freelance journalist. He has written extensively for both local and national media outlets on a variety of subject matter.
