Suzan Nada, leader of the Permanent Convention of Alexandria (Egypt) Workers, on tour in the U.S. As a union organizer and a revolutionary activist, Ms. Nada brings a unique perspective on the state of the struggle in Egypt. In addition to discussing broad political developments, Ms. Nada will speak to her experience on organizing the working-class movement in Alexandria.

Omar Ali, Egyptian-American ANSWER Activist, lived for many years in Egypt and travels there frequently. Mr. Ali will discuss the history of the Egyptian people's struggle for independence against colonial powers.

Discussion will follow speakers’ presentations.
