Though touted by the fossil fuel industry as the next best thing in energy production, hydraulic fracturing -- fracking -- poses tremendous risks to human health and natural life, from contaminating aquifers, to increasing greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, and even earthquakes. Contention is brewing across the US, and California is no exception.

Join us for a panel discussion with leaders in the thick of this energy battle: Rose Braz, Climate Campaign Director; Center for Biological Diversity; Mark Schlosberg, National Organizing Director, Food and Water Watch; and Andrew Grinberg, Oil and Gas Program Coordinator, Clean Water Action. We'll hear about what fracking means in California and beyond, and what you can do to stop it.
