Agroecology in Latin America

The expansion of agroecology in Latin America has initiated an interesting process of cognitive, technological and socio-political innovation, intimately linked to the new political scenarios such as the emergence of progressive governments and resistance movements of peasants and indigenous people. Thus the new agroecological scientific and technological paradigm is being built in constant reciprocity with social movements and political processes.
