Vladislav (Slava) Davidzon
One of our younger cyclists this year, Slava boldly arrived in SF from NY, bought his bike, and began to ride. Although his cycling experience was minimal, his courage clearly runs deep. A first generation immigrant to the U.S., Slava is an international traveler, among his recent traveling experiences was a trip to Palestine with the International Solidarity Movement. On Bike-Aid, Slava shares about his Jewish heritage and the Palestinian conflict from his experience and perspective.

Heather Diamond
As a cyclist, Heather is an active spinner who seems to float up hills. However, Heather's involvement with Bike-Aid is due to her love of community. While attending University of Colorado - Boulder, Heather volunteered with InterCambio to help better the Boulder community and now that she's graduated she's off to teach in the Peace Corps this fall.

Rachel Friede Rachel is attends New York University as a graduate student in Urban Planning / Parks Design. Rachel brings her experiences from National Outdoor Leadership School and a wealth of First Aid knowledge to this year's group. With likes such as empanadas, talking, and partying, Rachel makes sure the group remembers to have fun too!

Chad Hadsell Chad is definitely one of the more advanced cyclists this year and rides like the WIND! An accomplished musician and graphic designer, Chad is his off the creativity chart! Still fast on his bike, Chad identifies as a "Leftwing Christian" and decided to gear up with Bike-Aid to broaden his horizons and include service with others.

Caitlin Lloyd (Picture Pending) Caitlin comes to Bike-Aid from Medford, OR and was drawn by the Community Living aspect because of the challenges and opportunities for self growth. Caitlin advocates for sustainable living by voicing her beliefs with her purchasing dollars. Caitlin chooses not to own a car or tv, practices re-use of goods where possible, and buys in bulk.

Dan Masi
Dan is Caitlin's "Goto" guy! Also from Medford, Dan brings his experience promoting efficient transportation from Rogue Valley Transportation District to this year's ride. Dan's work and service experience includes a two-year commitment to Americorps, an experience that transformed his life. On Bike-Aid, Dan serves as one of two Media Coordinators.

Kevin Mitchell
A 2003 Graduate of The Evergreen State College in Migration / Immigration Studies and farmhand for Northwest Shellfish, Kevin brings his upbeat attitude and love for cycling to Bike-Aid 2004! When in his home community, Kevin teaches English as a Second Language, a program focused on language for survival.

Kiona Pfeiffer
"When a group of positive like-minded individuals come together and are all pushing hard at something so challenging, so much wisdom and will can be gained." Kiona lives in Santa Cruz and attends Cabrillo College. She brings a lot of positive energy to the group with her activist experiences of organizing for change; including such feats as starting a Charter School and protests to raise awareness about the plight of the Kickapoo River in Wisconsin.
