One of the two new Bike-Aid rides within California, this one-week bike tour through the Central Coast Valley - Watsonville, Hollister, Salinas - will focus on the impact of corporate agriculture on workers, our environment, and our food. Participants will learn about the farmworker legacy in this region and the differences between organic/sustainable agriculture and large-scale farming.
The dates for this ride are July 6 - July 12 , 2004. The ride will begin and end in San Francisco.
