Media, Communications and Digital Outreach Intern
Want to apply your online communications and digital organizing skills to promote social, economic and environmental justice? Global Exchange is seeking an intern who is enthusiastic about print and viral communication to help amplify our work in the press and on the web. - Creating press releases and public service announcements
- "Pitching" news stories and events to reporters
- Supporting and amplifying our online communications and digital organizing, and digital campaigning strategy
- Designing web and print materials
- Writing articles and letters to the editor for our newsletter, website and viral publications
Desired experience or working knowledge of:
- Social Networking Outreach (experience with MySpace and Facebook)
- Experience and Knowledge in Digital Campaigning Strategy
- Experience in Blogging and Online Publishing
- Digital Video Production/Publishing (You Tube, Etc.)
- Democracy in Action or other CRM Management
