Job Openings:
Global Exchange is looking for one or two volunteers (small stipend available depending on experience) with extensive video production experience to assist us in the making of three videos to show at our 2012 Human Rights Awards Gala to be held in May of 2012. This is a great opportunity for anyone with video production experience to gain practical experience in the peace and justice non-profit sector.

Update our current Global Exchange Video (see http://www.globalexchange.org/about/):
Currently 5 1/2 min. in length this video consists of: video, stills, text on screen, music and narration. The 2012 Global Exchange Video will follow the general theme of the 2011 video with minor programmatic updates to the script and visuals. You will need to be able to record the narration, film and interview, and do all of the post-production work associated with completing the project. This video will be posted to our website after the Human Rights Awards Gala event.

Human Rights Honoree Videos: We will need 3-5 min. videos for each of our Human Rights Awards Honorees. These videos will include: video, stills, text, music and narration. Each video will focus on the human rights work of that particular honoree. Global Exchange will provide the outline, and if possible set-up interviews with our honorees for the purpose of the video. You will need to be able to record the narration, film and interview, and do all of the post-production work associated with completing the project.
Final versions of these videos need to be completed by April 1, 2012.
We need someone who can meet with the primary Global Exchange staff point person during business hours M-F to make this project happen. Global Exchange staff will do the primary lifting in terms of writing the video outline and choosing the initial clips. We seek a volunteer with extensive video production experience who has access to video editing software and video recording equipment, to edit our chosen clips and create the finished product. We may be able to offer a stipend ($500-$1000), depending on experience, and will provide a tax receipt for the donation of this service above and beyond the allocated stipend.
