Ariel Vegosen is a Fair Trade and media social justice activist. She currently works for Dr. Bronners Magic soaps and is well known for giving workshops at many conferences including four United Students for Fair Trade events.
Most recently she was in Jenin, West Bank Palestine meeting with Canaan Fair Trade farmers and working on the coexistence olive oil program.
She has been seen working the Fair Trade runway at Green Festivals, Expos, and was honored to brandish a bottle of Dr. Bronners peppermint soap as she sashayed down the aisle in the SF Spring 2008 Sweat-Free Fashion Show.She believes in getting clean with a clean conscience and only showers with Fair Trade and organic products.
Ariel is also a youth educator, dialogue facilitator, campaign organizer, and peace activist.
She enjoys gardening, permaculture, shakin up the gender binary, and being a rock-star at life.
Ariel presents workshops and teach-ins on fair trade issues and also on peace and Palestine.
