Currently they are working to get KTS Textiles Industries to compensate workers, victims, and families of the deceased that suffered from the fire in Chittagong on February 23, 2006. The fire has been called the worst tragedy in the history of the Bangladesh garment industry. Several American companies bought from KTS, including Leslee Scott, Inc., which is based in Utah. They provide uniforms, linens, etc. for prison systems, hospitals, and cities. Clean Clothes has also found they have procurement contracts with cities in CA.
