Guest EcoArtist, Jacinta Vlach (artistic director of Liberation Dance Theater) will help you explore Cuban dance, music and culture. This cultural exchange program will provide opportunities for artists, students, and educators to study intensively with renowned Cuban dancers and musicians in Havana and Santiago de Cuba. Participants will have the unique opportunity to engage in dialogue with cultural activists and gain a deeper understanding of Cuban culture and artistic practice. You will learn about traditional forms in historical contexts and how it relates to present day Cuba.

- All confirmations in the program.
- Double room accommodations in 3-4 star hotel (this is based on Cuban standards)
- Transportation by private, air-conditioned motor coach as well as transfers for group as appropriate.
- Global Exchange/EcoArts Tour trip representative to accompany the group from Havana through the whole touring period and/or English speaking, tour guide(s) to accompany the group throughout the touring period.

To register, please send in your application form and a deposit of $500. Payments by Mastercard, Visa and Discover are welcome. Deposits for Cuba delegations are non-refundable unless the trip is canceled by Global Exchange as explained below.
Please note: We must meet a minimum number of trip participants on every trip, so please register early!
To ensure that all participants can plan accordingly, the minimum number of participants must be reached within 30 days before departure, or the trip will be canceled. Registered participants can choose to receive a full refund or transfer to a future group. Once a trip is confirmed (reaches the minimum # of participants) registrations may be accepted up to 1 week before departure.
This trip will be as diverse as possible in terms of race, age and life experiences. In some cases, a limited number of partial scholarships are available for low-income applicants.
