Noted Peacemaker and Co-Coordinator for VCNV, she has been nominated 3 times for the Nobel Peace Prize, arrested more than 60 times at home and abroad and has remained at the forefront of the American peace movement. Her pilgrimages have one purpose: to reveal the lives of war's innocent victims. Her hosts have been the men, women and children whose homes have been under constant fire. She will speak primarily on her current work with Voices for Creative Nonviolence and Afghan Peace Volunteers.
This is a free event, but donations accepted to cover travel expenses.
