Green Festival Expo is the largest and longest-running sustainability and green living event in the United States. It was founded by Global Exchange and Green America over thirteen years ago in an effort to find solutions to help make our lives socially, economically and environmentally sustainable.
Each year through Green Festival, Global Exchange introduces tens of thousands of people to the future green economy. Now in five cities across the nation, these dynamic events bring together inspirational leaders, social entrepreneurs and community members to celebrate and enjoy everything from green energy systems to Fair trade Certified products to organic food. Attendees are able to see, hear, feel, smell and taste the future green, socially just economy.
We’re excited to announce that in Green Festival Expo has partnered with German Company, Messe Stuttgart to continue to grow the movement for a greener, more sustainable economy. Messe Stuttgart organizes similar events in Europe - such as “Fair Handeln,” which focuses on fair and responsible global trade, “Garden Outdoor Environment” and “Haus Holz Energie,” a large sustainable building and energy trade fair - attracting more than 80,000 visitors annually.
2015 events in will be held in New York City (April 24-26) already past, Washington DC (June 5-7) already past, Los Angeles (Sept 25-27), San Francisco (Nov. 13-15) and for for the first time in Portland, OR (Dec. 11-13)!
2016 Dates: New York City (Weekend of April 16th), Washington, DC (Weekend of May 7th), Los Angeles (Weekend of Sept. 17), San Francisco (Weekend of Nov. 12th), Portland (Weekend of Dec. 10th).
