We invite your participation in The 7th International Conference on the Environment and Sustainable Development in Havana, Cuba, July 6 - 10, 2009 that is taking place during an Eco Cuba Exchange Environmental Research Tour, July 3 - 12, 2009.

This Environmental Research Tour will include opportunities for individual and small group meetings, according to area of expertise and interest, and site visits before, during and after the Conference for further research. The research component of this Tour will comprise 48 hours, more than the equivalent of a full work week; the conference component comprises 30 hours, although some of your individual meetings might be set up during conference hours.

The Extended Research Tour will address the environmental, political, and human aspects of Sustainable Development and allow for further meetings between conference participants and your Cuban colleagues. The final itinerary will be determined by the interests and expertise of the individual participants.

We must receive your application and a non-refundable deposit of $200 two months before departure. Payments by Mastercard or Visa are welcome.

This trip will be as diverse as possible in terms of race, age and life experiences. We strongly urge people of color to apply. In some cases, a limited number of partial scholarships are available for low-income applicants.
