Cuba : Sustainable Architecture and Urban Development

February 09, 2010 - February 18, 2010

Old Havana is a fascinating labyrinth of colonial architecture and urban gardens.

This research delegation includes an examination of the history of Sustainable Development and Architecture in Havana, Cienfuegos and Trinidad, all listed as UNESCO "World Heritage Sites." We will also study the restoration of Old Havana and visit many historic sites in all three cities.

Our expert guide will be distinguished Architect and Urban Planner Miguel Coyula, of the advisory agency, "The Group for the Comprehensive Development of the Capital." Coyula is a dynamic professional who is well-known as a Cuban television personality and as the "Godfather" of the Group's 20 community development projects in Havana.
