Afghanistan : Women Making Change- CLOSED

March 05, 2006 - March 14, 2006

Join Global Exchange on a women's delegation to Kabul, Afghanistan and bear witness to the self-generated transformation of women's roles in Afghan society.

This trip provides the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into Afghan women's perspectives on their lives and the future of their country.

In addition to meeting with women from all sectors of Afghan society, the delegation will have an opportunity to examine many other aspects of reconstruction including education, de-mining, arts, culture and the media. This trip is the opportunity of a lifetime to see the challenges that Afghan women are facing, to hear their stories first-hand and to learn from them how we can support their efforts.
