Global Exchange Reality Tours has been asked by Eco Cuba Network, a project of the Green Cities Fund to arrange travel to Cuba for US citizens who wish to participate in the International Wetlands Symposium and Research Program in Ciénaga de Zapata Biosphere Reserve, Matanzas Province, Cuba, November 2 - 10, 2013.

This trip is open to full time professionals, practitioners, students and activists in the fields of wetlands management and protection, general environmental protection, environmental education, sustainable economic development in protected areas and other related fields.

$2300 (land only)

We must receive your application and a non-refundable deposit of $500 two months before departure. Payments by Mastercard, Visa and Discover are welcome. Full payment will be due 6 weeks before departure.

This trip will be as diverse as possible in terms of race, age and life experiences. We strongly urge people of color to apply. In some cases, a limited number of partial scholarships are available for low-income applicants.
