Suggested Readings on IRELAND

War and Peace in Ireland: Britain and the IRA in the New World Order by Mark Ryan (London & Boulder: Pluto Press, 1994). A wide-ranging critique by a brilliant analyst and clear writer. If you only read one book on the subject this should be it.

The Irish Economy by Ronnie Munck (London & Boulder: Pluto Press, 1993). Probably the best contemporary overview of the Irish economy from a critical standpoint.
